PhilNITS Lab was built with a single goal: to provide Filipino IT students, software engineers, and IT professionals with a modern, free, and realistic preparation portal for the official PhilNITS FE (Fundamental IT Engineer) and IP (IT Passport) examinations.

What is PhilNITS?

The Philippine National IT Standards (PhilNITS) Foundation implements IT certification exams aligned with Japanese and ASEAN IT standards (ITPEC). Passing these examinations grants certified status recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), opening professional software engineering opportunities both in the Philippines and Japan.

FE Exam

Fundamentals Examination (FE)

Evaluates fundamental IT competencies. Covers computer science principles, networks, databases, security, hardware, algorithms, and software engineering.

Passing Grade: 60% minimum score
IP Exam

Information Processing (IP) Exam

Geared towards IT professionals and planners. Tests IT management, business strategies, information security, project execution, and systems analysis.

Passing Grade: 60% minimum score
